Aaliya Turns 1! - Danville Family Photography - Danville, CA

Aaliya will be turning 1 soon and she is just as cute as can be. She smiled at me from the first moment to the last which just makes my job that much easier! Usually it takes a minute for kids to get warmed up but she was ready for her photo shoot and so were her loving parents, Sapna & Amar. Thank you guys for choosing me to capture your daughters first year portraits. Happy first birthday, Aaliya!

Jeremy, Kelly, Lauren, & Trevor...(& Dylan & Floyd) - A Family Session - Dublin, CA

When I first met Jeremy & Kelly it was for some holiday portraits and at the time their family consisted of the two of them and their two dogs Dylan and Floyd. Fast forward to today and they are now (technically) a family of 6 including their adorable now 2 year old daughter Lauren and her 4 month old baby brother, Trevor. The amazing thing for me is simply how quickly time goes by. I photographed Lauren when she was just 1 month old and at the time my daughter was just a few months old and within a blink of an eye, she is an adorable little 2 year old and now also a big sister. Pretty amazing.

We set out to take Lauren's 2 year photos but also wanted to include some 3 month pics of the little man Trevor and of course a few of the entire family as well. Little Lauren I must say stole the show. She is so full of energy(as I find most 2 year olds are) she just loved to run around but she did it with a smile . =) I seriously could post every picture I took. Little brother Trevor smiles more than any baby his age I have ever encountered and when you put it all together you get this awesome little family. Jeremy, Kelly, Lauren, Trevor, Dylan, & Floyd. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you guys in the future with these cute little buggers but for now here are some of my favorites from our session together.

Tammie & Josh: Having Twins! - Pregnancy Portraits - Danville, CA

Tammie & Josh are two people I know I will never forget. Their engagement session, loved it. Their wedding was at the same place I got married which I also absolutely loved. As a matter of fact, their album is still a sample I show every potential client I meet with. When I received an email from them a few months ago I was pleasantly surprised to hear their big news! They are having TWINS! Twin girls to be exact. =)

On Sunday we get together to take some pregnancy portraits. Tammie showed up looking beautiful as expected and Josh..well let's just say he looked pretty nervous. Not nervous about having his picture taken..nervous because he's about to be a new dad to twin GIRLS! I'm just giving him a hard time haha I'm sure they are both nervous but I believe that's to be expected when your entire life is about to change. =) I know these guys will be great parents. I can see first hand just how much they love each other and having a baby (or in their case, TWO!) is an amazing experience and I'm truly excited for them. I definitely look forward to seeing them again when these two little girls are here...it won't be long!
